Learn the process of fusing glass to copper in this dynamic exploratory workshop. Follow artist Melanie Lieb through sifting, painting, tools, safety, and various techniques used to create unique wearable art. Cloisonne is an ancient technique that involves using wire on a metal backing to create designs or separate enamels. Each student will walk away with a few new pieces of small jewelry or artwork. Extra copper can be purchased from the instructor for a small fee. Artists and makers of all skill levels are welcome.
