Event Schedule:

11:00 AM to 11:45 AM- Yarn Pom Poms with Heidi Blunt

11:45 AM to 12:30 PM- Make Your Own Own 'Chappal' Roshan Ganu

‘Chappal’, open toe slippers native to the Indian Subcontinent are a delight to wear in the summer, as we explore streets long and narrow, and walk through towns big and small. During the 45 minutes, we will look through images of the original leather ‘Chappal’ which is fabricated in Kolhapur, a town in western India. Then, we will make a simple, miniature version of this Chappal using paper, markers, glue and a pair of scissors. Once you do it, make your own collection of multiple, colorful mini-Chappals in your own time.
