Online Drawing and Painting for Youth (all ages):  MN Wildlife with Molly Maki

$25/session Monday May 4th 1pm-2pm Online Via Zoom (will send meeting link upon registration)  

Step into Molly Maki's online learning fun house!  Learn about MN wildlife and make art with artist extraordinaire, Molly Maki!  Instructor will demonstrate how to draw a variety of Minnesota wild animals.  Students will sketch an animal of their choice such as a wolf, bear, fox, cougar, muskrat, turtle, beaver, etc.  Instruction will be given on drawing anatomy, proportions, musculature, textures, and facial details. Students will mix colors and paint their animals in natural colors within a natural setting. There will be time at the end of class for show and tell.   

Supplies needed:  Pencils, erasers, paint-tempera, acrylic or watercolor in at least the primary colors, red, yellow, and blue, along with white, black, and brown, paintbrushes of various sizes, including a thin brush for outlining, 80 lb. paper or other wet media paper, at least 12" x 18" or larger.

Optional: pastels, colored pencils, markers, paint pens, molding putty and acrylic airbrush medium for blending. Some of these methods will be discussed and demonstrated by the instructor.
