Learn and practice the basics of throwing on the potter's wheel from centering to glazing. Clay, glazes and firing fees included. Open to all levels; instruction directed to the beginning potter, but intermediate students are welcome! Students will have studio access outside of class time when a ceramic studio monitor is present and are highly encouraged to practice outside of class hours. A monitor schedule will be given to students on the first day of class.
Class is held at our Lincoln Park Building, 2229 W 2nd Street. Street parking is available, please be aware of alternate side parking or park in the paved lot on 23rd Ave West or in the alley off of 23rd Ave West. One bag of clay is included in the class tuition, additional bags may be purchased from the studio as needed.
