Create your own oil painting based on a photograph of a favorite place or memory. Bring a photograph to class—perhaps a beloved family dog, a landscape scene, or an event in your life. Students will be led through the process of learning to look at a photograph through the eyes of a painter, how to transfer a drawing of the image onto a canvas, and how to fully develop an oil painting that will inspire others.
