Online Puppet-making (all ages):  A Star is Born

$25/session Monday May 18th 1pm-2pm Online Via Zoom (will send meeting link upon registration)  

Create a cast of characters and make puppets with artist extraordinaire, Molly Maki! Step into Molly Maki's online learning fun house! This class is designed to be fun for the whole family, all ages are welcome.  Student will stuff a bag and create a neck with a cardboard paper roll section.  They will "dress" their puppets with a swatch of fabric or other material and decorate the "face" with googly eyes, various notions, yarn hair, etc.  Students can create a puppet monologue or dialogue with and create stories with their puppets.   Virtual prizes will be awarded for the silliest puppet, prettiest, ugliest, most original, scariest, etc.  As a bonus, demonstrations on how to create miniature stick puppets and scenic backdrops using empty cereal boxes, frozen pizza boxes, soap jugs, and other common items will be given. 

Supplies:  Brown paper lunch sack, cardboard paper roll, newspaper, masking tape, swatch of fabric, glue, scissors, and miscellaneous odds and ends such as construction paper, googly eyes, buttons, sequins, yarn, or anything that you think would create a good puppet's face and hair.
