Online Drawing and Painting for Youth (all ages):  Clowning Around

$25/session Monday May 4th 4-5pm Online Via Zoom (will send meeting link upon registration)  Space is limited

Step into Molly Maki's online learning fun house!  Learn about the history of clowns and have fun drawing and painting.  Teacher will demonstrate how to draw various kinds of clown eyes, noses, mouths, and embellished cheek spots, different clown hair styles, and clown hats.  Students will draw out the clown in pencil, outline in black marker or black paint and mix colors to fill in the clown and the background, using the elements and principles of design to add detail and create visual interest.

Supplies:  Tempera, acrylic paint or watercolor paint in a variety of bright, cheerful colors, heavy paper that can take paint (I prefer 80 lb. paper), pencil, eraser, ruler, and any odds and ends such as sequins, glitter glue, origami paper or wrapping paper scraps, fun foam cutouts, stickers, candy wrappers, you name it.  If the student has access to a wallpaper sample book, this can also be helpful.
