Learn the art of making lidded pottery to hold or store liquids, grains, prepared foods, etc.  This class will consist of six projects each based on a particular lid form.  The final project will be making pots designed for non-traditional lids such as corks, rubber stoppers, wood, cut covers, etc.  From hand building to throwing, to applying surface treatments and glazes, to designing and constructing, this course will grow your skills to make Earth-friendly vessels for everyday life.

Students should be able to throw an eight-inch cylinder or have taken at least one beginning ceramics class.
