Tell a Story in Cartoons with Rob Adams

Thursday, May 23rd, 6-9 p.m.

$30

Do you have stories to tell? You don’t have to wait for your novel – tell them in cartoons!  Graphic novels are a fast-growing segment of the publishing industry, and fun to make as well as read.  Think you can’t draw? Everyone can learn some basics, and we’ll look at cartoon examples of different complexity levels.  Or, work from found imagery from collage materials. In this 3-hour workshop, students will each brainstorm one story of their own, and turn it into a cartoon of about 4 panels.  Drawing and collage materials provided.  Open to ages 12+
