DAI Printmaking Club

Join the club!  Get inspired and make prints at the DAI Printmaking studio.  Meet other artists and explore printmaking processes while working in a group setting.  All levels of experience are welcome.  Please bring your own supplies and reference materials, drawings, sketches, photos for ideas and inspiration.   DAI Printmaking Club

$45 member + $55 non member (includes all materials) 

All levels welcome! 

Using plexiglass and ink, experiment with monotype printmaking techniques using brushwork and additive and subtractive skills to create painterly prints. Class will include demos, guided instruction, individual assistance and feedback. We will use an etching press to create a series of three to four prints.  Natural and floral subject matter will be provided as subject matter.

Solar plates, a new approach to traditional printmaking, is a simple environmentally friendly process resulting in images that resemble etchings, lithographs, screen-prints, or lino-cuts...they can even have photographic effects.  Bring your ideas and explore this printmaking technique with award winning artist Matt Kania.
